*FULL-TIME FARM HAND – DEER FARM MANAGEMENT – Longton, Kansas. *
*$60,000+/year Starting Pay + Bonus *
We are hiring a dependable, hardworking Farm Hand for a full-time, year-round position on our deer farm near Longton, Kansas. The work focuses on equipment operation, planting and maintaining food plots for deer, land management, and general property maintenance to support quality whitetail habitat.
This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys outdoor work, operating farm machinery, and contributing to practical deer management tasks.
*What You’ll Be Doing *
● Operating tractors, skid loaders, mowers, and other equipment
● Planting, maintaining, and managing food plots
● Spraying, mowing, tillage, and land upkeep to optimize habitat
● Hanging stands/constructing blinds
● Equipment maintenance and minor mechanical repairs
● Fence repair and general property maintenance
● Hauling materials, feed, and supplies
● Occasional travel to assist at other properties during the year
*What We’re Looking For *
● Strong, reliable work ethic able to work 50+hr/week in planting seasons
● Minimum 5 yrs experience operating tractors and farm equipment
● Mechanically inclined – able to perform repairs and maintenance
● Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, mud)
● Able to lift 50+ lbs. and handle physical labor
● Valid driver’s license/ clean driving record
● Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
● Drug-free
● Must pass a background check
