*Farm Maintenance & Hay Operations Assistant (Tavares, FL)*

*Full‑time or part‑time – physically demanding role*

We are a private equestrian and agricultural property seeking a *reliable, hard‑working individual* to assist with general farm maintenance and hay operations. This role does *not* involve horse care; it is focused on *manual labor, repairs, and equipment handling*.

*Responsibilities*

* Repair and maintain fencing
* Assist with painting and basic building upkeep
* Stack, move, and organize hay (heavy lifting required)
* Drive a box truck for hay deliveries (must be comfortable with larger vehicles)
* Operate basic farm tools and equipment
* Support general property maintenance as needed

*Requirements*

* Ability to lift *50–70 lbs repeatedly* (hay bales, fence posts, equipment)
* Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Valid driver’s license with clean record
* Experience with farm work, construction, or manual labor preferred
* Strong situational awareness and safety mindset
