Lead Tractor Operator/Farm Hand

Job Description

Boshart Customs is hiring a Lead Tractor Operator/Farm Hand for our 2026 Grass Harvest season. Our crew travels to Lebanon, Jefferson, Albany, Tangent, and occasionally to the Monmouth area.

*Main responsibilities:*

* Working alongside the Owner to run the baling crew
* Working with local vendors for repairs, parts, etc.
* Fixing, providing maintenance, or cleaning equipment
* Parts run (as needed)
* Driving the crew
* Directing crew on the road with equipment
* During off seasons- Providing overhaul maintenance to equipment
* Basic mechanic tasks
* Cleaning shop and equipment
* Assisting in hazelnut orchards
* Assisting in the seed warehouse

*Requirements for the position:*

* Clean driving record
* Experience operating tractors, rakes, balers, and stackers.
* Open availability Monday-Saturday June 24th-August 31st
* Great leadership and willingness to teach and train the crew
