*Butcher, Assistant butcher, Meat cutter – Pierce Creek (Creve Coeur)*
Pierce Creek is a fast-growing local food business (restaurant, butchery, bakery, local food market and food truck ) dedicated to fresh, healthy, and ethically sourced meats. We raise beef without hormones or antibiotics and partner with local farmers for poultry, lamb, and pork. Our newly remodeled USDA-approved meat cutting room offers a supportive, positive work environment.
We are seeking experienced butchers to join our team. The right candidates will have strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for combining traditional butchery with modern techniques.
Part time and full time postions available. Compensation based on experience.
What we’re looking for
* Minimum 3 years of butchery, meat cutting experience across multiple proteins beef, pork, poultry, lamb (cooked, uncooked, smoked, cured, aged)
* Experience maintaining HACCP plans
* ServSafe certification and Hepatitis A vaccination
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable transportation
* Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
* Solid computer and tech skills
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with General Manager and owners to grow our fresh, local, beef-focused program into the premier butcher shop in St. Louis County
* Know how to break down whole carcasses
* Work as a team
* Prepare food, support menu development, and process orders
* Engage with customers while ensuring food safety standards are upheld

Pay: $16.00 – $30.00 per hour
