Part-Time Dairy Farm Milker

Job Description

*Overview*
Indian Creek Creamery is in need of a part-time milker on our dairy operation. We milk 70 cows in a double-four parlor and would like to hire someone for our evening milking shift. We start milking at 5pm, and it takes approximately 3 hours from start to finish. This position pays $15/hour after the training period.

We hope to find someone with a strong work ethic who likes cows and doesn’t mind working outdoors or getting dirty.

*Duties*

* Perform milking duties following established procedures
* Clean and sanitize dairy barn and surrounding work areas
* Inspect dairy cattle and provide basic treatment, reporting concerns as needed

*Experience*

* Prior experience in farm or agricultural settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Experience working with cattle enhances suitability for this role but is not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
