*Role Overview*
The *Farm Worker* plays a vital role in the planting, cultivation, maintenance, harvesting, and packing of strawberries. This position supports daily field operations and helps ensure the production of high-quality fruit while maintaining food safety, quality, and productivity standards.

*Essential Duties & Responsibilities*
* Plant, cultivate, maintain, and harvest strawberry crops according to company standards.
* Prepare fields for planting, including setting plants, laying plastic, and assisting with irrigation systems.
* Remove weeds, diseased plants, and damaged fruit to promote healthy crop production.
* Harvest strawberries while meeting established quality and productivity standards.
* Assist with packing and handling fruit to maintain product quality.
* Load, unload, and transport harvesting containers, supplies, and equipment as required.
* Support irrigation, fertilization, and crop maintenance activities.
* Operate hand tools and authorized farm equipment safely and effectively.
* Clean and maintain equipment, containers, and work areas.
* Follow all food safety, sanitation, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
* Maintain a productive and professional work environment.
* Assist with other farm operations and special projects as assigned.
*Required Qualifications & Skills*
* Previous agricultural or farm experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
* Ability to follow instructions and quality standards.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and food safety practices.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and stoop for extended periods.
* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday.
* Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, as needed during peak harvest periods.

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
