We are seeking a reliable Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The Farm Worker is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing farm machinery used in planting, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting crops. The ideal candidate will have experience operating modern agricultural equipment, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and productivity.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Operate a variety of agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, planters, tillage equipment, grain carts, forklifts, and other farm machinery safely and efficiently
* Perform field operations such as planting, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting.
* Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Diagnose and perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed.
* Load, unload, and transport crops, seed, and farm supplies.
* Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge.
* Assist with grain handling and storage operations.
* Follow all company safety procedures and agricultural regulations.
* Support general farm operations and assist with additional duties during peak seasons.
*Qualifications Required*
* Valid driver’s license.
* Ability to work extended hours during planting and harvest seasons.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
*Preferred*
* Maintain a Class A CDL or J51 or be willing to obtain.
* High school diploma or GED.
* Previous experience operating agricultural equipment.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
*Working Conditions*
* Outdoor work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, dust, and rain.
* Additional hours and weekend work required during planting and harvest.
