*Responsibilities*
* Carefully harvest mature cannabis plants following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize yield and quality.
* Perform detailed trimming of harvested plants to enhance appearance, potency, and overall product presentation.
* Manage plant maintenance tasks such as pruning, defoliation, and removal of damaged foliage.
* Assist with crop production activities including plant training, staking, and supporting healthy growth through proper irrigation management.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
* Follow integrated pest management (IPM) protocols to control pests and plant pests effectively without compromising crop integrity.
* Support the team with outdoor work experience, including land preparation, greenhouse cultivation, and landscaping tasks as needed.
*Skills*
* Proven growing experience with knowledge of horticulture practices specific to flower and cannabis cultivation.
* Familiarity with irrigation systems, agricultural environmental control systems, and irrigation management techniques.
* Ability to identify various plant species, pests, and diseases accurately using plant identification skills.
* Mechanical knowledge of hand tools and gardening equipment essential for efficient harvesting and trimming processes.
* Strong understanding of crop pest management strategies and plant pest control methods.
* Experience working in outdoor farming settings with an emphasis on sustainable practices.
* Basic math skills for measuring plant components and managing quantities during harvests.
* Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, bending, and repetitive motions involved in trimming tasks.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to manage horticultural teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
