Ranch Hand / Farm Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working with horses and is comfortable performing a variety of ranch and property maintenance tasks. While we are willing to teach horse handling and daily equine care, applicants *must* have experience operating tractors and farm equipment.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, watering, and general barn duties (training provided if needed)
* Safely operate tractors and other farm equipment
* Build, repair, and maintain fencing
* Install and repair water lines, piping, and other ranch infrastructure
* Perform general property maintenance and groundskeeping
* Complete additional ranch and maintenance projects as needed
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
* Previous equine experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
* Experience operating tractors is required
* Knowledge of fencing, plumbing/piping, and general property maintenance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
