We are seeking an experienced Dairy Farmer to join our dynamic agricultural team and lead the day-to-day operations of a thriving dairy farm. In this role, you will oversee the care and management of dairy cattle, ensure optimal farm productivity, and maintain high standards of animal welfare. Your expertise will drive the success of the farming operations, combining hands-on animal husbandry with efficient equipment management. *Responsibilities*
* daily farm activities, including feeding, milking, cleaning, and health monitoring of dairy cattle with some supervision
* Manage and operate some farm machinery, and power tools to support farm operations
* Conduct routine equipment repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of farm infrastructure
* Handle animal husbandry tasks such as health checks, vaccination schedules, and general animal care
* Maintain detailed records of animal health, eq. maintenance, and farm activities
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement best practices in farming and animal handling
*Experience*
* experience in a dairy farming environment
* Extensive animal husbandry expertise, including caring for dairy cattle and understanding their needs
* Familiarity with hand tools, and power tools
* Knowledge of farming practices helpful
* Basic math skills for record keeping and measurement tasks
