*Job Summary*
We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Farm Laborer to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting hog/crop farm operations, maintaining equipment, caring for livestock, and assisting with crop cultivation. Your enthusiasm and hands-on approach will help ensure the farm runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in farming, animal husbandry, and machinery operation while contributing to sustainable agricultural practices. *Responsibilities*

* Assist with planting, harvesting, and general crop maintenance using hand tools, irrigation systems, and farm machinery
* Care for animals by feeding, cleaning enclosures, monitoring health, and handling livestock with gentle expertise
* Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
* Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment, including welding and equipment repair tasks
* Support animal husbandry activities including breeding, grooming, and health checks for various farm animals like horses or cattle
* Maintain cleanliness of barns, greenhouses, and work areas to promote a safe environment
* Assist with irrigation setup and management to ensure optimal growing conditions for crops

*Experience*

* Prior experience in farming or agriculture is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
* Supervising experience or leadership roles on farms or similar settings are advantageous
* Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment repair is a plus
* Hands-on experience with animal handling, animal care practices, or equine experience is desirable
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feeding schedules are necessary
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or other power tools effectively
