About the Role
As a Dairy Processing Technician, you will serve as a vital link in our production chain by managing the intake, testing, and flow of raw dairy materials. You will ensure that all liquid transfers meet strict quality standards, directly impacting the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor the flow of milk and whey throughout the facility to maintain optimal production levels.
Execute precise sampling and laboratory testing procedures to verify product integrity and compliance.
Uphold rigorous sanitation standards by maintaining intake equipment and adhering to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
Provide clear, proactive communication across departments to facilitate smooth logistics and traffic patterns.
Document all testing and processing data with high accuracy to support quality assurance and audit readiness.
Ensure full compliance with food safety protocols, including SQF policies, GMPs, and OSHA workplace safety regulations.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Proven ability to operate computer-controlled processing equipment.
Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to interpret technical gauges and thermometers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and navigate industrial plant environments.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and high-quality production workspace.
Preferred Skills
Current Bulk Milk Weigher and Sampler License.
Active Milk, Food, and Water Analyst Certification.
Prior experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production setting.
