*Position Description:*

Magnum Electric is seeking an experienced Excavator Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is mechanically minded and likes to work independently. Excavator experience is a must.

*Essential Job Functions*:

Operate mini excavator and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Dig trenches for the installation of PVC electrical conduit. Read prints to understand the electrical installation. Measure conduit pieces and plan the conduit runs with necessary bends. Install PVC electrical conduit in trenches. Use power tools to cut conduit. Glue joints together. Operate skid steer and fork lift. Drive company vehicles. Tow trailers, equipment, and materials.

*General Requirements: Solid work ethic, team player attitude, and problem solving ability*

* 2+ years of previous excavator operator experience
* Current driver’s license and good driving record

* Ability to drive and backup with a trailer
* Solid work ethic, team player attitude, and problem solving ability

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
* Must be able to use hand tools and power tools required
* Ability to lift +50 pounds

Pay: $28.00 – $37.00 per hour
