*Duties*

* Assist with planting, harvesting, watering, and crop maintenance using farm machinery and hand tools
* Operate agricultural equipment such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and power tools safely and efficiently
* Care for livestock including feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring animal health
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation
* Support animal husbandry activities including breeding, health checks, and handling various farm animals such as horses or cattle
* Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation
* Assist with irrigation setup and management to ensure proper water distribution across fields or greenhouses
* Support general farm upkeep including fencing repairs, greenhouse maintenance, and equipment cleaning

*Experience*

* Prior experience working outdoors in farming or agricultural environments is highly desirable
* Supervising experience or leadership roles on farms or in agricultural settings is a plus
* Hands-on experience with farm machinery operation such as tractors, forklifts, or heavy equipment preferred
* Knowledge of animal care practices including livestock management and animal husbandry techniques
* Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, welding, or maintenance of farm machinery is advantageous
* Familiarity with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, horticulture or growing techniques enhances your suitability for this role
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy lifting and power tool use
* Basic math skills for measurements, record keeping, or inventory management are beneficial
