*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Ranch Hand to join our dynamic agricultural team. This vital role involves supporting daily farm operations, caring for livestock, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the overall health and productivity of the ranch. *Duties*
* Assist with livestock handling, feeding, cleaning up after, watering, and general animal husbandry to promote healthy growth and well-being.
* Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently.
* Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm machinery, fences and other misc things
* Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy loads, moving supplies, and maintaining fencing or infrastructure.
* Follow strict safety standards during all activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in farm work, agriculture, or related outdoor roles with a strong understanding of farming practices.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience or ability to lead small teams effectively.
* Proficiency in operating farm machinery including agricultural tractors, power tools, forklifts, and heavy equipment.
* Skilled in animal care practices such as livestock management and animal husbandry; equine experience is a plus.
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs on agricultural machinery;
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely; familiarity with hand tools and power tools required.
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to farming operations, and record keeping.
* Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions with a proactive approach to farm maintenance and animal care.
