*Responsibilities*
* Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and machinery
* Care for livestock by feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health and behavior
* Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm machinery safely and efficiently
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on farm equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation
* Handle manual tasks including lifting heavy loads, installing irrigation systems, and managing animal husbandry duties
* Support equipment repair projects through welding, mechanical repairs, or basic troubleshooting of farm machinery
* Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during all outdoor work activities and equipment operation
*Skills*
* Proven experience working outdoors in farming or agricultural settings with knowledge of crop cultivation and animal care
* Supervising experience or ability to oversee team tasks when needed
* Skilled in operating forklifts, agricultural tractors, power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely
* Knowledge of animal husbandry practices including livestock handling and equine care
* Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair and maintenance (including welding)
* Familiarity with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, horticulture practices, and general farm infrastructure
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards in production environments
* Experience with livestock management including health monitoring and animal husbandry techniques
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feeding schedules
* Strong understanding of safety standards in agricultural production environments
