Heavy Equipment Operator & General Laborer (2+ Yrs Field Tractor / Bush Hog Experience Required)

Job Overview

We are immediately hiring a reliable, hardworking individual for a unique, year-round split role. During the summer, your main responsibility will be operating heavy equipment to maintain our property. Throughout the rest of the year, you will transition into a general laborer at our used cooking oil recycling facility.

Compensation & Benefits

* *Pay Rate:* $18.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

* *Operate tractors* equipped with heavy bush hog mowers safely.
* *Maintain fields* by cutting overgrown grass and brush.
* *Maintain company vehicles* and equipment with basic preventative service.
* *Deliver and set containers* at client locations using a truck liftgate.
* *Conduct physical inventories* of oil containers and warehouse supplies.
* *Respond to oil spills* immediately as part of a quick reaction cleanup force.
* *Load and unload* cooking oil containers at the recycling center.

Mandatory Qualifications

* *Experience:* Minimum 2 years of tractor or heavy equipment operation (Required).
* *Valid driver’s license* and a clean driving record (No CDL required).
* *Physical stamina* to lift heavy loads, handle spills, and work outdoors.
* *Mechanical aptitude* to service vehicles and spot equipment issues early.
* *Strong work ethic* to work independently with minimal supervision.
* *Flexibility* to shift between outdoor operations, driving tasks, and warehouse duties.
