We’re looking for a dependable *Ranch Hand* to join our team and assist with the daily upkeep of a private ranch in Devers, Texas. This is a full-time, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating/repairing/maintaining equipment, and pitching in wherever needed to keep the ranch running smoothly.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Assist with the maintenance of ranch grounds, buildings, and equipment
* Help repair and maintain fences, fields, roads, and wooded areas
* Support preparation of the ranch for seasonal hunting and fishing activities (deer, hogs, fishing)
* Take part in tree farm care, including planting, watering, trimming, and general upkeep
* Operate and care for heavy equipment (tractors, mowers, etc.) under supervision
* Perform basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fence repairs as needed
* Work closely with the Ranch Manager and team to complete daily tasks efficiently
*Qualifications*
* Previous ranch, farm, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred, but not required
* Small engine mechanical experience – repairing and maintaining
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
* Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate machinery and tools
* Must be physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Reliable transportation to commute to the Liberty County area
* Must pass a background check and drug screening
