*Duties*

* Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, grooming, and general care of livestock such as cattle, horses, or other farm animals
* Operate heavy machinery and farm equipment including tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and power tools to support land management and infrastructure maintenance
* Perform equipment repairs and welding tasks to ensure all machinery and tools are in optimal working condition
* Maintain fencing, pens, barns, greenhouses, and irrigation systems through routine inspections and repairs
* Support planting, harvesting, greenhouse management, and growing activities to promote healthy crop production
* Handle heavy lifting of supplies, feed bags, hay bales, or equipment safely and efficiently
* Supervise or assist with other team members in completing daily chores and projects on schedule
* Other job duties include caretaking/maintenace of personal residence.

*Skills*

* Proven supervising experience or ability to lead small teams effectively in outdoor or farm settings
* Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, and basic maintenance tasks
* Some animal husbandry skills including animal handling, care routines, and health monitoring
* Familiarity with farm machinery operation such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, power tools, and hand tools
* Experience with equine care or livestock management is highly desirable
* Knowledge of horticulture practices including greenhouse operations and growing techniques
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for long workdays
* Basic math skills for measuring feed rations or calculating quantities for planting or irrigation needs
* Understanding of irrigation systems and water management techniques for crop health
* Experience with heavy equipment operation including safety procedures and routine maintenance
