We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ranch Manager to oversee daily operations on a working ranch. This vital leadership role involves managing livestock, maintaining farm equipment, ensuring safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong agricultural knowledge, mechanical skills, and hands-on experience in animal husbandry and equipment operation. *Responsibilities*
* Supervise and coordinate daily ranch activities, including livestock management, crop production, and facility maintenance
* Oversee animal care routines, ensuring health, nutrition, and humane handling of all farm animals including cattle, horses, and other livestock
* Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, irrigation systems, power tools, and heavy equipment with precision and safety awareness
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on equipment using welding, mechanical knowledge, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) skills
* Manage safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards during manual handling, heavy lifting, and outdoor work
* Lead staff supervision by assigning tasks, providing training on animal husbandry practices, equipment use, and safety standards
* Implement irrigation schedules and horticultural practices to support crop growth or greenhouse operations when applicable
*Experience*
* Proven supervisory experience in farm or ranch settings with a focus on livestock management and agricultural operations
* Extensive hands-on experience operating heavy machinery such as agricultural tractors, forklifts, and other farm equipment
* Strong animal husbandry background with knowledge of livestock handling techniques and animal care best practices
* Skilled in equipment repair including welding, mechanical troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of farm machinery
* Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production environments involving manual handling and heavy equipment operation
* Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency
* Knowledge of irrigation systems, horticulture practices, greenhouse management or growing experience is preferred
