Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Seasonal Agricultural Worker – Entomology for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Manages the growth and maintenance of host plants for spotted lanternfly in greenhouses and growth chambers.
Assists in collecting and maintaining spotted lanternfly egg masses.
Assists in conducting trials aimed at quantifying survivorship and development of spotted lanternfly on different grape species.
Assists in field studies of spotted lanternfly management in vineyards, and with data collection at areawide pest management sites for spotted lanternfly.
FLSA Nonexempt
Salary Details $15.92 – $25.00 per hour
