Allendan Seed Company, established in 1980 grows high quality native prairie grasses and wildflowers for seed production. We are seeking motivated individuals to work in the Greenhouse, Nursery and Small Field Production areas of our operation.
Job Summary:
We are seeking Summer Agricultural Workers to join our team for the upcoming season. As a Summer Agricultural Worker, you will assist in various agricultural tasks to support the growth and maintenance of crops.
· Seeding, transplanting, plugging, watering
· Irrigation, mowing, harvest
· Potential to operate different types of agricultural equipment
· Operate power tools as needed
· Utilize hand tools for various agricultural tasks
Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to stay on task
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
* Respectful usage of cell phones
* Consideration and planning for time off requests
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Able to work inside and outside and in different weather conditions
