*Role Overview*
The *Tractor Driver* is responsible for safely operating tractors and other agricultural equipment to support strawberry production and daily farm operations. This role assists with field preparation, planting, cultivation, fertilization, crop maintenance, material transportation, and harvest activities. The Tractor Driver helps ensure equipment is operated efficiently, maintained in good working condition, and utilized in accordance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

*Essential Duties & Responsibilities*
* Safely operate tractors and other agricultural equipment to support field preparation, planting, cultivation, mowing, spraying, harvesting, and other farm operations.
* Prepare fields and planting beds for strawberry production by performing tillage, cultivation, and other land preparation activities.
* Pull, operate, and monitor farm implements and attachments, including plows, cultivators, sprayers, mowers, trailers, and other agricultural equipment.
* Assist with irrigation installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support crop health and productivity.
* Perform routine equipment maintenance, including fueling, lubricating, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues or repair needs.
* Maintain accurate records of equipment operation, maintenance activities, field work, and applications, as required.
* Follow all workplace safety, food safety, environmental, and equipment operating procedures.
* Work closely with farm supervisors and field crews to meet production goals and operational schedules.
* Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas around equipment, storage facilities, and field operations.
* Support harvest activities, special projects, and other farm duties as assigned.
*Required Qualifications & Skills*
* Previous experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment preferred.
* Knowledge of safe equipment operating practices in varying weather, terrain, and field conditions.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and adhere to established operating procedures.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with supervisors and team members.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
* Reliable attendance, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities and seasonal demands.
* Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime, as needed.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and climb while performing job duties.
* Ability to safely operate tractors and agricultural equipment for extended periods.
* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, mud, rain, and direct sunlight.
* Good vision, depth perception, and hearing necessary for the safe operation of agricultural equipment.
* Ability to safely enter and exit tractors and equipment repeatedly throughout the workday.
* Ability to perform repetitive motions involving the hands, arms, and feet while operating equipment.
* Ability to work extended hours during peak planting, cultivation, and harvest periods.

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
