Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Duties:
– Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to all types of machinery (ex: feed trucks,
tractors, earth moving equipment, semi-trucks etc.)
– Maintain professional and technical knowledge through industry research
– Update electronic service records and audit maintenance intervals
– Troubleshoot problems by observing equipment functions in operation
– As time permits and/or when business needs arise, assist with other farm activities
– Any other related duties necessary
Qualifications:
– Knowledge of heavy equipment and vehicle mechanics including diesel engines
– Ability to follow instructions and report findings accurately
– Professional mechanic experience preferred
