*Responsibilities*

* Construct, repair, and maintain fencing systems to ensure secure livestock enclosures using manual tools, power tools, welding equipment, and farm machinery.
* Handle livestock with care, including cattle and other farm animals, ensuring their health and well-being through proper animal husbandry practices.
* Operate agricultural tractors and heavy equipment safely to assist with land preparation, feeding, or transportation tasks.
* Perform routine maintenance and repair of farm machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and conducting basic repairs or replacements.
* Assist with irrigation systems setup and management to optimize water use across fields or pastures.
* Support general farm operations such as feeding animals, cleaning facilities, managing manure disposal, and maintaining safety standards in production environments.
* Supervise or collaborate with team members on various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations while adhering to safety protocols.

*Requirements*

* Proven experience in farm work, agriculture, or livestock management with a strong understanding of animal husbandry practices.
* Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, or other farm equipment safely.
* Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair, welding techniques, and equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
* Experience with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
* Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production environments to ensure a safe working space for all team members.
* Supervising experience is advantageous for roles involving team coordination or training new staff.
* Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping related to livestock management and equipment maintenance.
