*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Farm Labor Bus Driver to safely transport farm workers from housing sites to the worksite during our harvest season (September through early November). This vital role ensures timely, secure, and comfortable transportation while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role will primarily be night shift with occasional day shifts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a passion for supporting farm operations through reliable transportation services.
*Duties*
* Safely operate buses according to all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations.
* Transport farm workers between designated locations efficiently and punctually.
* Assisting with or complete unloading and loading at destination.
* Disinfect/sanitize bus between loads.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of all systems.
* Communicate clearly with farm workers and supervisors.
*Skills/Qualifications*
* Valid California or Oregon Class A or B Driver’s License.
* Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes endorsement required.
* Knowledge of transportation safety regulations including emergency stop procedures and defensive driving techniques.
* Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
