Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ranch Hand/Laborer to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the daily operations of a working ranch, ensuring the health and safety of livestock, and supporting farm activities with hands-on labor. Duties

Perform livestock handling and animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring of farm animals such as cattle, horses, and other livestock.
Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and farm machinery safely and efficiently for planting, harvesting, and transportation purposes.
Conduct routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of farm equipment and machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge.
Assist with irrigation systems setup and management to ensure optimal water distribution across fields or greenhouses.
Support crop cultivation activities including planting, cultivating, pruning, harvesting, and greenhouse management when applicable.
Maintain safety standards in all production processes by adhering to established protocols for manual handling, equipment operation, and animal care.
Supervise or assist with farm labor tasks performed by other team members to ensure smooth workflow and safety compliance.

Experience

Previous experience working on a farm or ranch with hands-on knowledge of agricultural practices is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, or other farm equipment safely.
Experience in animal care including livestock management and animal husbandry practices.
Mechanical skills related to equipment repair, maintenance, welding, and general troubleshooting are advantageous.
Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions with a focus on safety standards in agricultural settings.
Familiarity with irrigation systems, horticulture practices such as greenhouse work or growing crops is beneficial.
Strong manual handling skills along with basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations related to farming tasks.
