Eagle Ranch Pistachios is hunting for the right person to join the team, full-time, in caring for pistachios and grapes. As needed, this position will have the opportunity to cross-train in the salting/roasting department and other departments as well. You will never be bored!
With hourly pay starting at $14.00 an hour, responsibilities of the farm hand will include daily nurturing of the pistachio trees and grapevines. This includes watering, pruning, cultivating, weed removal, pest control, harvesting, hulling and any other field work or maintenance that may become necessary throughout the year.
Beginning on the first day of employment, benefits will include employee discounts, earned paid sick leave and family telemedicine. Six months after your start date benefits expand to include paid vacation, paid birthday. We offer matched retirement savings at one year.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Dependable
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Team worker
• Experience working around machinery.
• Able to run heavy machinery/forklift is a plus.
• Full time, Monday through Friday.
