*Responsibilities*

* Supervise daily farm activities including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and crop management to ensure optimal growth and yield.
* Manage animal husbandry duties such as feeding, watering, health monitoring, and general care for livestock and equine animals.
* Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and power tools to support farming operations.
* Perform equipment repairs, welding, welding repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery operate safely and efficiently.
* Oversee the handling of animals with proper techniques to promote welfare and prevent injury; assist with breeding or other specialized animal care tasks.
* Lead or assist with greenhouse operations and horticulture activities to support plant growth initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting inspections, maintaining records, and implementing best practices for heavy lifting, tool use, and equipment operation.

*Qualifications*

* Proven supervising experience in farm or agricultural settings with strong leadership skills.
* Mechanical knowledge including equipment repair, welding, troubleshooting machinery issues, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
* Hands-on experience with animal husbandry practices across various species; equine experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and greenhouse equipment safely.
* Knowledge of farming techniques including crop cultivation, irrigation management, horticulture practices, and greenhouse operations.
* Strong animal handling skills with a focus on animal care and welfare standards.
* Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring stamina; comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Familiarity with maintenance tasks including equipment repair and basic farm infrastructure upkeep. Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
