*Duties*

* Operate heavy farm machinery including tractors and livestock management.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge to keep machinery in optimal condition.
* Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring animal health to ensure proper care of livestock including cattle and other farm animals.
* Manage animal handling activities safely and humanely, ensuring compliance with animal welfare standards.
* Supervise or assist with other farm workers in daily operations while adhering to safety protocols and farm procedures.
* Use basic math skills for measurements, record keeping, inventory management, and scheduling tasks efficiently.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience in farming or agriculture environments with a strong understanding of animal husbandry.
* Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing farm machinery and equipment; welding skills are a plus.
* Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as tractors and other power tools required for daily farm tasks.
* Experience in animal care including handling cattle or other livestock species with patience and confidence.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in maintenance or animal care activities.
