*Duties*

* Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using hand tools and farm machinery
* Care for animals including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring health and behavior
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment
* Manage animal husbandry tasks such as cleaning stalls, and ensuring proper shelter conditions
* Support irrigation setup and adjustments to optimize water distribution across fields
* Maintain cleanliness of barns and work areas while adhering to safety standards

*Qualifications*

* Prior experience supervising or leading small teams preferred but not required
* Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair or maintenance
* Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal husbandry practices
* Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely
* Familiarity with farming techniques including horticulture, greenhouse management, and growing practices
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feed rations
* Physical ability for heavy lifting, long hours outdoors, and operating heavy equipment
* Knowledge of irrigation systems and general farm maintenance procedures
* Experience with welding or other equipment repair techniques is a plus
