Farm Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working farmer for a private farm in Hunterdon County. We grow premium organic vegetables, and raise organic chickens, cows and pigs. You will be responsible for all aspects of farming:

• Vegetable production: Seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing
• Greenhouse work: Seeding and watering
• Livestock care: Feeding, water management, moving fencing, egg collection/processing
• General farm tasks: Tractor work, mowing, cleaning, equipment maintenance, etc.

Requirements:

• Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors 8+ hours in all weather conditions.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Farming experience and a valid driver’s license necessary.

Compensation to be determined based on experience. English required.

Salary: $30 an hour
