*Responsibilities*
* Safely and efficiently perform milking procedures for dairy livestock, ensuring optimal milk quality and animal comfort
* Handle livestock with care, including feeding, grooming, and health monitoring to promote animal well-being
* Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm machinery to assist with feeding, cleaning, and maintenance tasks
* Conduct routine inspections of milking equipment and farm machinery; perform basic repairs or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams
* Maintain accurate records of animal health, milk production, and equipment maintenance activities
* Assist with general farm chores including manual handling tasks, irrigation setup, and horticultural activities as needed
* Follow strict safety standards during all operations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
*Skills*
* Supervising experience or leadership skills to coordinate daily farm activities effectively
* Proficiency with farm machinery including agricultural tractors, greenhouses, irrigation systems, and power tools
* Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment repair issues and performing basic maintenance tasks
* Experience with livestock management, animal husbandry, and animal handling techniques
* Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and agricultural tractors safely and efficiently
* Knowledge of safety standards in agricultural production environments
* Hands-on experience with farm animal care, equine handling, or livestock management preferred
* Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting and outdoor work tasks
* Basic math skills for record keeping and inventory management
* Familiarity with horticulture or greenhouse operations is a plus
* Experience with irrigation systems or growing crops enhances versatility in supporting farm productivity
