Mushroom Harvesters – Berks County Farms

Job Description

Responsible for harvesting various levels of Mushrooms Beds to fulfilled the daily product order

Select quality product according to the demand of the daily order and Supervisors’ lead

Work in a designated area harvesting various levels of Mushrooms’ beds and diverse mushrooms type

Maintain the assigned area free of obstacles, mushrooms and mushrooms stumps.

Carry the harvested product to the packing area

Responsibly use various tools in order to fulfilled the harvesting needs such as ladders, baskets, etc.

Ability to follow detailed directions

Must be willing to work from 5:00 am until finish

Rotating Shift Schedule-Saturday to Friday; two days off

Physical Jobs Demands:

Ability to stand for prolonged periods throughout the harvesting shift, stand and climb on a three foot ladder, squat, kneel, bend and reach repetitively

Ability to climb up and down stairs while carrying harvested product

Ability to lift, move and carry 10-20 lbs. equipment

Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

No experience required, we will train
