Job Description

Responsibilities:

*-Must have reliable transportation & live in the Harlingen area, speak English & Spanish, experience with animals, farm/ranch work or general outdoor work.*

-Perform general ranch duties, including but not limited to:

-Open availability to work Monday – Sunday; including holidays;

-Live in the Harlingen area

-This job is outdoors, working on a ranch with farm animals, feeding, watering, monitoring health, cleaning pens/water troughs, put out hay bales, etc…
– Animal care (experience with farm animals) and husbandry, such as feeding, watering, and monitoring health
– Maintaining cleanliness and organization of animal living areas
– Assisting with breeding and birthing
– Operating farm machinery for various tasks if needed but not necessary
– Maintaining and repairing fences, buildings, and equipment (Ranch Work)
– Help maintain garden and lawn care (Outdoor work)
– Assisting with irrigation when needed

Skills:

– Proficiency in using hand tools for various ranch tasks
– Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and care techniques
– Familiarity with gardening and lawn care principles and practices
– Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs on lawn equipment and basic plumbing repairs
– Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 per hour
