*Job Overview*
We are seeking dependable and hardworking *Seasonal Agricultural Field Workers* to assist with barley research, field maintenance, harvest operations, and facility cleaning. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are willing to travel as part of the harvest team.
The successful candidate will support various agricultural operations, including weed control, barley harvesting, field inspections, facility maintenance, and general farm labor. Travel to out-of-state harvest locations may be required, with all travel expenses paid by the employer.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Assist with agricultural field work and crop maintenance activities.
* Spray weeds and apply approved weed control measures.
* Hoe and remove weeds from research and production fields.
* Rogue barley fields by identifying and removing undesirable plants.
* Harvest barley crops and assist with seasonal harvest operations.
* Empty and discard barley from cloth bags as directed.
* Clean and maintain facilities, including floors, bathrooms, work areas, and common spaces.
* Support farm operations and agricultural research activities.
* Load, unload, and move materials as needed.
* Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
* Travel out of state to support barley harvest operations when required.
*Qualifications*
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
* Must be willing and able to travel out of state for harvest assignments.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
* Previous farm labor, agricultural, harvesting, landscaping, or outdoor work experience is a plus but not required.
*Requirements*
* Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
* Must pass a criminal background check.
* Clean background required.
* Must provide and wear steel-toe safety boots/shoes.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
* Reliable transportation to and from the worksite preferred.
