*ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY*
Bridge Talent LLC is recruiting 25 reliable Mushroom Harvesting Workers for an indoor mushroom-growing operation in Blandon, Pennsylvania. Immediate openings are available.
This is a full-time contract assignment. No previous mushroom harvesting experience is required. Paid training is provided.
*SCHEDULE AND EARNINGS*
* The typical workday begins at 5:00 AM and may continue until approximately 4:00 PM, or end earlier when production is completed.
* Weekly workdays will be confirmed during the screening process.
* Weekly earnings generally range from $300 to $1,100. Earnings vary according to production and the applicable compensation method. The exact calculation method will be explained during screening and before the candidate accepts the assignment.
* Transportation is not provided. Candidates must have reliable transportation to report to the Temple, PA work location on time.
* Referral incentives may be available according to program rules.
*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Harvest mushrooms according to established quality and productivity standards.
* Handle mushrooms carefully to prevent damage.
* Sort and place harvested mushrooms into the appropriate containers.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
* Work efficiently and consistently to meet production expectations.
* Perform other harvesting-related duties as assigned.
*WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*
* Work is performed indoors in a mushroom-growing facility.
* The environment may be cool, humid, damp, and have natural agricultural odors.
* The work requires standing for extended periods and frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
* Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
* Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the assignment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* No previous mushroom harvesting experience is required; training is provided.
* Immediate availability.
* Reliable transportation to the Blandon, PA work location.
* Ability to report to work reliably and on time for an early-morning shift.
* Ability to follow quality, sanitation, productivity, and safety instructions.
* Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* English or Spanish is accepted.
* If selected, the candidate must be able to provide documentation legally required to perform paid work in the United States.
